A Start

Well, I started. We started. 10 years ago I was not a runner. Only since we moved house, maybe more space created space. What do I want to do with this site? I want to learn. I want to search and write the latest in mental health and running.

When I started running, it was just a way to create some sort of fitness. For most of my adult life, I was not fit but finally, through running, I slowly built fitness. It grew to a habit, not sure how, and it took time. What also took time was building fitness. I did not track it at the time, but at least 6 to 12 months if not 1 to 2 years! What is shocking to me now at my age is how quickly fitness disappears if stopping for whatever reason, travel, injuries, etc. Though, with a base fitness level built, it's doable to rebuild back to a regular level of fitness in a shorter time frame.

As for this site, let's see where it goes. I want to learn about site and newsletter building and learn more about fitness, running, technology with AI, and mental health. Hopefully, you will join me and enjoy the content.
